The Davis School District has scheduled a makeup day as a result of the closure of schools due to the recent windstorm.

All schools will be open Wednesday, Dec. 21. Schools following an A/B schedule will be on a B-day schedule during that day. Elementary and junior high schools will also follow an early-out schedule that day.

Winter recess will begin Thursday, Dec. 22, for all schools.

Utah State Board Rule R277-419-3 requires traditional nine-month schools to be in session for a minimum of 990 hours and a minimum of 180 days.
