Editor,

Utah’s junior senator Mike Lee, a Republican, is a man of honor, a pioneer of integrity in D.C., and a true patriot. He is in a fight for saving the Constitution and its values, and the rights of all citizens thereto. He understands the revelation by Joseph Smith Jr, (regarding the Constitution hanging by a thread), and, with President Obama in office, that’s exactly where the Constitution sits, along with morality, which is also hanging by a thread.

I am thankful that Sen.Lee stands up to the unconstitutional injustices violating all legal Americans’ rights. I have personally seen violations of individuals’ Second Amendment and Fifth Amendment rights, here in Utah, and it is unethical, and unlawful as viewed at the federal level under the United States’ Constitution and will eventually end up in federal court.

Certain Utah law enforcement agencies in Utah will get a wake up call on Constitutional rights and responsibilities for Constitutional violations on their end, many of which I have witnessed, and I am not going to sit back and be silent about, especially when it comes to Second Amendment rights, for all non-felon Utahns.

Here is a case law on this: District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008), was a landmark case in which the Supreme Court of the United States held that the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution protects an individual’s right to possess a firearm for traditionally lawful purposes (including under the Constitution), such as self-defense within the home.

If anyone in Davis County or Utah feels their Constitutional rights have been violated, Sen. Lee, needs to be aware of it. He maybe contacted at lee.senate.gov/public.

Thank you Sen. Lee, from a fellow Conservative!

Cory Green,

Bountiful
