The games are the largest annual multi-sport event for athletes age 50 and over in the world, bringing in more than 10,000 participants yearly.
They are now in their 26th year. This year there will be 27 sports for athletes to choose from.
Because of the level of interest and the growth of the games, several sports will have participation caps this year, including, bowling, pickleball and table tennis.
Athletes are encouraged to register early to ensure a spot in the sport of their choice.
