Nachos don’t have to just be Mexican. They can be a tasty creation from Italy, too! Mama Mia!


3 oz pepperoni slices

12 oz shredded mozzarella cheese (1.5 

bags if pre-shredded from the store)

1 bag tortilla chips (I like the large, 

triangle ones)

1 small can of sliced black olives (optional)

Italian pizza seasoning

1 can of pizza sauce


Arrange the tortilla chips on a large baking sheet, trying to lay them as flat as possible. Sprinkle on the mozzarella cheese, covering all of the chips. Bake in a 350 degree oven until the cheese begins to melt- about 3 minutes. 

Remove the tray from the oven and spread on tablespoons of the pizza sauce on the chips (it’s important to do this AFTER the cheese process – otherwise the chips will get soggy fast), and top with pepperoni slices and olive slices. Sprinkle on pizza seasoning and return to the oven for approximately 3 additional minutes until heated through. Enjoy!

Optional: add other toppings as desired...whatever your favorite pizza items are. Try sausage, onion, green bell pepper, etc.
