BOUNTIFUL — Gordon A. Madsen. co-editor of the business and legal papers in the Joseph Smith Papers Project, will be the guest speaker at the Centerville chapter of the Sons of the Utah Pioneers monthly dinner meeting on Tuesday night.

The meeting will be held at the Wight House, 95 N. Main, in Bountiful, at 6:30 p.m.

Madsen is a former state legislator and served as an assistant attorney general from 1959-64.

His been in private law practice since 1964. 

He is the authors of several articles regarding the law and also on Joseph Smith.

The dinner is open to the public. The cost is $12.50 per person. Reservations may be made by calling 801-298-1196.
