Gordon to speak at SUP dinner

BOUNTIFUL - Author and editor Kathryn Gordon will discuss her book, “Butch Cassidy and Other Mormon Outlaws,” at the monthly dinner of the Bountiful chapter of the Sons of the Utah Pioneers on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

The dinner will be held at the Wight House, 95 N. Main, in Bountiful at 6:30 p.m. Cost of the dinner is $12.50 per person. Reservations are required. Contact Roger Bennett at 801-292-1176 for more information.

Gordon, managing editor at Covenant Communications, served as press secretary for a United States congressman; vice-president of Aspen West Publishing Co., manager of strategic communications for Novell, Inc.; and director of public relations at Westminster College.

She has authored or co-authored more than nine dozen books, most in the health and wellness field. A former Sigma Delta Chi member, she was named an Outstanding Young Woman of  America.
