BOUNTIFUL — The First Southern Baptist Church of Bountiful is offering a different kind of worship, open to the public on Good Friday, March 29.

Members will host a Secret Church simulcast beginning at 5 p.m, at the church, 696 N. 400 East.

Secret Church Simulcast is six intense hours of biblical teaching and prayer for the church, according to the organization’s website, lifeway.com/secretchurch. It ends at 11 p.m.

The event is led by David Platt, pastor of the Church at Brook Hills, Birmingham Ala., and the author of the book “Radical and the Radical Small Group Study.”

The evening will address topics such as these:

Ґ Is the Apocalypse Upon Us?

Ґ Do We Know What Heaven Will Be Like?

Ґ What About Hell?

Ґ Secret Church explores God’s word in search of the answers to these questions and more, its website says.

There is no charge for the event and no child-care will be provided, but those who wish to attend are asked to contact the church at 801-292-8095 or at bountifulfirst@qwestoffice.net to indicate the number that will attend.
