Cleon Tucker is celebrating his 95th birthday with family and friends at an open house on Saturday, August 17, at Eggett Park, 1600 E. Barton Creek Lane, Bountiful, from 2 to 4 p.m. Cleon was born Aug, 17, 1918, to Worth and Florence Tucker. He grew up in Emery County before moving to Salt Lake and then to Davis County. He has been married to Betty for 72 years and they are the parents of seven, grandparents of 31 and great-grandparents of 71 (with one more on the way). He is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has served in many positions throughout his life. He served a mission with his wife in the Philippines Manila Mission. He loves to fish and play basketball, which he continues to do each week. He has been going to the Senior Games in St. George for 18 years and was inducted into the Senior Games Hall of Fame in 2007.
